The Nigeria fodder and livestock industries needs more injection of private capital to modernize and
become truly commercial, creating value for investors and stakeholders. Consequently, this investment
deal room will achieve the following objectives:
1. Attract and facilitate private investment capital into feed, fodder and livestock enterprises both new
projects and existing enterprises including modernization of some abattoir facilities across the country
2. Provide opportunity for projects to find investment capital to fund viable projects
3. Identify and prepare private enterprises with financial capacity and ability to access the FGN/World
Bank/L-PRES commercial livestock loan facility with Development Bank of Nigeria
4. Provide opportunity for foreign buyers and off-takers of fodder and livestock products to give
assurance to project promoters of their intentions to buy from Nigeria during the deal room session.

5. Facilitate formation of large joint ventures, SPVs and new projects for optimizing commercial
opportunities in the feed, fodder and livestock sector
6. Present the business case and secure commitments for a proposed ‘Fodder and Livestock Development
Fund’ – a blended finance facility promoted by Capital Dial Investments Limited
7. Provide opportunity for project promoters to meet skilled talent and service providers.
